Measurement Work Stations
Introduction to this Project - Who Are You? Where Am I?
Hello, all! I'm Julia Picciotto, an aspiring teacher
and current student at the University of Richmond, class of 2014.
This website strives to combine hands-on activities, reading and technology to teach elementary math, specifically, second grade measurement lessons. Though a project for my own preparation in education, this site is an open resource to all educators who are interested in teaching measurement by the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) for second grade, section eleven (2.11). The content will be organized into 12 work stations as follows:
3 Length Stations 1 Literature Station
3 Weight Stations 1 Computer Station
3 Volume Stations 1 Teacher's Station
